Trainee Digital Marketing Assistant

Working closely with the Little Barn Door Business Operations Manager, the Trainee Digital Marketing Assistant will be a key player in raising awareness of the Little Barn Door brand and group of companies across fresh and innovative channels.

Hours: 37.5 hrs per week

What tasks does the role include?

  • Social Media

    • Day to day running of social media accounts, instagram, twitter, linked in, pinterest and facebook including the social media scheduler

    • Developing the tone of voice for all channels by working closely with the little barn door team  team

    • Provide weekly monthly updates  on performance of posts, follower growth and engagement from channels

    • Share idea on adhoc/seasonal social campaigns

    • Research audience preferences and discover current trends

    • Develop innovative and creative content across social media platforms and contribute to the overall social media strategy - including design ideas and installation lives

    • Work with the design team to create engaging, sharable content across all channels to tie in with trading calendar and which will create buzz around new products and launches

    • Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness

    • Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics

    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a cohesive social media identity

    • Keep track of social media trends and competition

    Digital Marketing

    • Use and create content to schedule email mail outs to subscriber lists using online mailer software

    Marketing 

    • Support with ideas for advertising, direct marketing and campaigns

    • Share ideas for advertising opportunities and place adverts in the press or on the radio

    • Work closely with external creative agencies to design marketing materials such as brochures and adverts

    • Write and proofread marketing copy for both online and print campaigns

    • Produce creative content, including videos and blog posts

    • Support with preparation for marketing events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions

    • Share ideas for company sponsorship

     

What do the hours look like?

The Little Barn Door office is open Monday to Friday 0900 - 1700.
