Simple tips for Springtime curb appeal
Whether you are returning home from work or taking a stroll past a possible new home, nothing says “welcome” like a well kept property front.
With most house hunters taking a casual drive-by before booking an official viewing, a well groomed springtime exterior is going to give your home an immediate appeal.
“An investment in good springtime prep will last all year long!”
We know that the idea of maintaining your front garden or driveway can feel like a chore, but spring really is the BEST time to get going. An investment in good springtime prep will last all year long.
Little Barn Door founder, Natalie Evans has teamed up with Jo Head, owner of sought after HAMPSHIRE Garden Design Consultants, Plan a Head Gardens to offer some simple tips for a budget friendly blitz.
Start with a list
Take 10 minutes before you start to look at your property from the curb and put together a list. We have a free downloadable checklist ready for you to speed up the process. Once you have the list ready, there will be no better feeling than crossing the jobs off!
KNOW YOUR tools?
List out the tools you need to get the job done, such as a trowl or screwdriver. Having everything ready before you start means that you can work effectively with no unnecessary stops. Don’t have the tools you need? Ask friends, neighbours or members of your local community social media groups.
Tackle one area at a time
Focus on one area, and tick it off the list before moving on to the next job. Move around the area in a clockwise fashion until you have completed your list.
Ask for help
What better way to use the lockdown ease to your advantage, and get family or friends over to help. With 6 or more people permitted to meet outdoors your task list will be complete in no time.
Taking these simple steps to boost your curb appeal will certainly catapult your selling success this spring.
